Applying as a Freshman
for the 2010-2011 School Year
If you are an Incoming 9th grader, our Admissions process is as follows:
- Submit the 2010-2011 SFCHS Admission application with fee to the St. Francis office. Applications available online. (see page 1 of application for fee schedule)
- All incoming freshmen are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the application process. Test date is June 21, 2010 at 9:00am. Please call the school to schedule your rising 9th grader to take the High School Placement Test.
Students must bring:
- Two sharpened #2 pencils
- No calculators
- A test fee of $38;
Make checks payable to SFCHS
- Once you have submitted your application along with middle school records (Grade 6, 7, and 8 transcripts, teacher recommendations on file for 9th grade placement and most recent standardized tests) and have taken the HSPT, the Admissions Committee will review the student’s application.
- Letters of acceptance will be mailed with detailed information regarding the registration process, tuition, uniforms, scheduling, etc.
- Upon receiving your acceptance letter, please call the office 352-376-6545 to schedule a registration appointment. Freshman Registration for the Class of 2014 is by appointment only.
Freshman Registration will take place on the week of March 1-4, 2010.
